The complex and prevailing forces of systemic racism are an ever present reality for many populations within our society. With the added stigmatization of disability, these forces compound with the dynamics of devaluation and add to the heightened vulnerability experienced in the lives of many people. Segregation, incarceration, poverty, and violence are often constant threats and a reality of life.  Please join the Keystone Institute for this Study Group as we look into these complex interactions within our society and explore what SRV has to offer to better understand the devaluation and vulnerability experienced by persons of color with disabilities, as well as strategies to combat these forces in the lives of many of the people we serve. This Study Group is open to those who have completed a full Introduction to Social Role Valorization Workshop.
