Foundations of Direct Support: National Training for Direct Support Practitioners 2.0 (Phase 2)

Sarovar Hotel, Delhi

KII has developed a four-phase, 13-module curriculum that is a combination of theory and practicum, to provide a high-quality direct support preparation program. It is intended for promising supervisors as well as direct workers in special schools, vocational programs, recreational programs, day centers, and residential programs. Many committed parents and professionals have contributed their know-how and expertise and helped develop these modules. This train-the-trainer course will be offered in a hybrid format – a mix of virtual and face-to-face sessions – over a period of 4 months.

At long last, SRV leaders from across India will gather together in person for the first time since our 2019 Summit to strengthen ourselves and each other, to envision ways to bring the powerful ideas we share forward, and to build our change movement. We will rely on our gathered group with our experience, passion, and sense of community to set direction for the upcoming few years. For practical reasons, we are unable to bring all AISRV members together, but are inviting some leaders to be a part of this gathering, and together will find ways to include everyone.
