Dr. Thomas Neuville will discuss the program's founding, successful inclusive education principles, adapting materials, credentials, testing, overcoming faculty resistance, and working with students and families.
Social Role Valorization (SRV) is a powerful set of ideas about assisting people to have full, rich, meaningful lives. SRV thinking is also accompanied by very practical implementation strategies to help people with disabilities have access to the good things in life. This overview event will present the idea of assisting people with disabilities and other devalued conditions to have positive social roles as a productive and helpful response to wounding life experiences.

Mindsets are powerful shapers of action. Our mindsets govern what we see, what we perceive, and how we respond to the world around us and the people we encounter. Intended for those with some exposure to Social Role Valorization (SRV), this workshop will examine the power of mindsets, and the sorts of strategies that might help shift the thinking of others around disability, and people with disabilities.
